If you’re trying to obtain more information on a person, one detail you may want to know is where they’ve lived in the past. In many cases, you can find out where someone use to live online, provided you know where to look.
There are many resources available that claim to help you find where a person used to live, but some work much better than others. This guide will cover the easiest ways to obtain this information. Different methods work depending on whether you want to find a previous address or just the cities where the person once lived. It can often be helpful to find previous cities first, as this information can make it easier to locate additional information on a person, including their old addresses.
Find Previous Cities
Tracking the cities where someone has lived usually isn’t too difficult, and a good starting point in your search is social media. If the person has a Facebook profile, you can check their current city, their hometown, and where they went to high school and college, assuming they’ve filled out that information and chosen to make it public. If they’ve listed previous employers, you could also see where those employers are located.
Instagram may also be useful in seeing what cities a person has lived in, although how you can obtain this information isn’t as obvious as it is with Facebook. There are no fields for a person to fill out their hometown or where they went to school. What you need to do instead is look through their photos. Instagram photos often have location tags, and with a little detective work, you can get an idea of where the person has been. Of course, you need to figure out which photos were taken during vacations and which actually indicate where the person lived, but that’s where the detective work and your own intuition come in.
Search engines may also help you find cities where a person has lived in the past. The more information that you have on the person, the more you can refine your search terms to find what you’re looking for.
Find Previous Addresses
Since an old address is a much more exact piece of information than just the city where someone lived, it may take a more precise search. A people search website, such as FreeBackgroundCheck.org, will be the best option. Here’s how you can find someone’s old address or find someone’s new address on FreeBackgroundCheck.org:
- Go to the site’s homepage and select your desired search method.
- Enter the information required for that search method and perform the search.
- Scan the list of results for the right person. Depending on the search method you chose, there could be many results, just one or none at all.
- When you’ve located the right person, select the option to view their report.
- Go through the quick registration process to obtain the information.
As far as search options go, FreeBackgroundCheck.org has the following five options available:
The name option provides fields for you to enter the person’s first name, last name, a city and a state. You may want to try tracking the person down on social media or through a search engine first so that you have a city and state to enter, as this will save you time combing through search results. If you have a phone number, a current address or any previous address, an email address or a license plate number on the person, those methods can also help you find them.
The report on the person will contain all the information FreeBackgroundCheck.org has obtained from its many sources, which include social media and the public record. It will often have a full address history, although this does depend on whether the person’s time at each address was logged anywhere. You can find a person’s forwarding address, find someone’s address by name, find out who owns a house and more.
Most Addresses Can Be Found Online
As a general rule, if there has been any record of a person living at an address, it will be available somewhere online, and it’s all a matter of using the right tools to find the information. When a person buys a home, signs a lease or even just changes their address, that gets logged and can be looked up later.
Are there old addresses that could slip through the cracks? In rare cases, this can happen. If the person rented a place to live from someone, such as a room in a house, without signing a lease and never changed their address to that location, then it’s conceivable that the address wouldn’t be attached to their records at all. Otherwise, the address will be recorded.
Figuring out the places someone used to live may seem tricky when you haven’t done it before, but it’s usually simple enough. A people search website and or background check site will likely get you the most comprehensive results, but social media sites and search engines can also come in handy.
Having someone’s address can be an important thing to have. Not only can you use it to send them cards or letters, but if you ever intend to visit them, you will need to know where they live to ensure that you are going to the right home. If you want to find out where someone lives to reconnect or just say hello, it can be quite a chore to find someone’s current address to send their mail to. However, there are few places you can visit to find out someone’s address with their name without having to spend too much time searching. We have included a few of the easiest ways to search for someone’s address by name both in print and online. Here’s what you need to know about finding addresses of people.
Not everyone has a physical phone book, and when it comes time to find someone’s new address, it can be hard to search for it without a phonebook. Instead, you can try an online phonebook like the WhitePages. They have several searching criteria that you can fill out from the city of their residence to their name. You will need a bit of information about the person you are trying a search for, finding an address is much easier through the online phonebooks. You can also find out someone’s forwarding address.
Online Search Engines
Search Engines can also be beneficial for finding out where someone is living now. Instead of going to a particular page, you can type in a person’s name with their phone number or state of residence. However, the only negative about using a major search engine is the amount of outdated or fake information out there. This is the most inexact way to find an address, though it is possible to get the results you want from this method.
There are several popular search engines that can be used:
A great way to find someone’s new address by their name is through social media sites. Facebook and LinkedIn are two major social media sites that often have people’s addresses located on them. You can try logging on these sites and search for someone’s name. This can often lead to their physical address, especially if it is a small business owner or you live in a smaller town. However, not everyone puts their address directly on their social media profiles, so this method might not reveal the results you are looking for when searching for addresses.
A more traditional method of finding addresses is by using the traditional phone book. Many people, especially those who live in smaller, more rural towns, still get phonebooks in the mail each time they are updated. These phone books are full of current residences and landline phone numbers, which helps when you are searching for someone’s address. All you have to do is grab the updated phonebook, or most recent phonebook you have, scan for their last name first, find their first name, and look for their address.
Address Finding Websites
Perhaps the best and most efficient way to find addresses of individuals is by searching through something called an address finder website. There are several websites all over that help you do just that. All you have to do is input the information you know about the person, and the website searches through hundreds of records to find the person you are looking for and their address to go along with the information.
These websites require a bit of information to work properly, which means you will need to know the name of the person you are searching for, as well as various other tidbits like their phone number, their state of residence, recent moves, and more, can help you get the most accurate results. There are several amazing websites that help you find someone’s address, but one of the best websites is FreeBackgroundCheck.org, which is a public record website that has quite a bit of information about people, their addresses, and more.
If you have recently lost touch with someone who you used to be close with, then you might want to know what they are up to and more. Sending them a letter or a card is a great way to say hello after lost time, and it is a great way to catch up without intruding too much into their busy lives. However, sending mail requires an address, which can often be hard to obtain, especially if you’re searching through hundreds of public records.
There are several ways to find addresses, and most are mentioned above. You can go the traditional route by searching through a phonebook, or you can search through several online methods to ensure that you are getting updated information. Some sources are not as efficient as others, but public records websites are a great way to get someone’s address. They will appreciate their mail, and you will feel as though you are reconnecting with a friend.
A tenant moves out, leaving the home trashed, and doesn’t leave their new address. A deadbeat parent skips out on child support. Your former roommate moved out in the middle of the night without paying her share of the bills. There are any number of reasons why you might need to find someone’s new address and either not want them to know or not be able to ask them.
So what do you do when you need to find out someone’s forwarding address? There are several things you can try.
1. Ask mutual friends/acquaintances.
If you share mutual friends or acquaintances with the person you’re looking for, you can try asking those people if they know the person’s new address. You’ll likely want to move quickly on this, however. If they don’t want you to find them, they’ll probably tell those people not to tell you.
2. Send a letter.
You might be wondering why, or even where, you would send a letter when you’re trying to get their address. Sending a letter to the address that you do know can often get you the one you don’t know. There are two ways you can do this:
1. Return Service Requested: For this, you’ll need to type everything on the envelope. Above the recipient’s address, with about one line space between them, type “RETURN SERVICE REQUESTED” (without quotes). What this does is notify the post office that if the person no longer lives at the address provided on the envelope, you want the mail returned with the new address. If the person forwarded their mail, this will result in your envelope being returned to you with a yellow sticker with the new address on it. If they didn’t forward their mail, it will come back to you with nothing. You’ll want to use this method if you don’t want the person to know you’re looking for them.
2. Address Correction Requested: This is essentially the same as the previous method, but your mail will be forwarded to the recipient, and you’ll get a card that tells you their new address. This method is good for when you don’t care if they know you’re trying to find them. In this case, you do the same thing as the previous step, but write or type “Address Correction Requested” (without quotes).
3. Do a public records search online.
This allows a lot of leeway in confirming that the person you find is the person you’re looking for.
4. Contact the alumni office of the college they attended.
This is usually more successful if you went to the same school, and may not be successful at all. But if the person is heavily involved in alumni activities, it may help you find a person’s change of address.
5. Hire a private investigator or people finding agency.
This can be a very expensive option, so it’s best reserved for a situation where you truly need to find the person, and the monetary reward of finding them will far outweigh what you spend on this. In a situation like that, however, this option has several benefits:
- They have more resources than you do, allowing them to access records that you can’t.
- They can dedicate more time and effort to the search than you can.
- They can locate and even contact the person without mentioning who’s looking for them, so that your privacy is protected.
6. Ask the post office.
According to the FOIA, the post office can tell you the forwarding address under the following circumstances:
1. If you already have the old address.
2. If a government agency is requesting it.
3. If it’s for a process server or other person serving the legal process meeting certain requirements.
4. By court order.
It’s not as hard as you might think to find out someone’s forwarding address. The cost of a postage stamp, copies of paperwork, or a quick online public records search, can usually find someone’s new address. If all else fails, you can discuss your situation with a lawyer and determine if there might be other options to help you do what you need to do.
If you have lost communication with somebody from your past and are wondering how you can find that person, you will be glad to know that there are many resources that you can use to find someone’s new address. Getting reacquainted with old friends has never been as easy as it is in our modern times thanks to the Internet. Besides finding old friends, many people have even found lost family members by using the Internet. No matter what your reason is for wanting to find somebody, below you will find 5 methods to find someone’s current address.
- United States Postal Service
- Private Investigator
1. United States Post Office
You can find someone’s new address with old address information. Finding a person’s new address may be as simple as using the United States Postal Service. They will help you find someone’s new address with old address information. This method of finding somebody is best for those that are looking for a person that recently moved. For this to work, the person that you are looking for must be using the mail forwarding service that is offered by the U.S.P.S. All mail that is sent to their old address will be forwarded to their new address. All you have to do is mail a letter to their old address and note “Address Service Requested” on your letter. When you do this, your letter will be forwarded to their new address, but the United States Post Office will also pass on the new address information to you.
2. Hiring a Private Investigator
If you are not too savvy with computers, you may want to consider hiring a private investigator to find whoever it is that you are looking for. Most people these days know how to use computers, especially younger people, but there is a small percentage of people that are not comfortable with computers. This is nothing to be ashamed of as some people just never had an interest or a need to use computers. If you are one of these people, hiring a private investigator to find somebody for you is your best bet. The private investigator will use all the latest technologies to find whoever it is you are looking for.
Google is the number one search engine in the world and has a load of information about almost everything that you can think of, and this includes people. You may want to start out by just typing in the person’s name. If the person has an uncommon name, you might find their new contact information on the first page of search results. It may be a bit more difficult to find information on somebody if they have a very common name. The Google search engine will be filled with information from all the people that share the same name. A good way to narrow your result would be to type in as much information that you can about the person. Besides typing in their name, you may want to type in the last city they lived in, their job occupation and any other information that you know about them. The more you know about them the better your results will be.
Facebook is nearing in on 2 billion users, and there is a very good chance that the person that you are looking for has a Facebook account. All you will have to do is type in the person’s name and you will have every Facebook user with that name displayed on your screen. It must be remembered that Facebook will display those that are closest to your location and will even use their algorithm to show people that you are most likely to know. If you do not see the person that you are looking for, you can always click on “See more results.” If you are not getting any satisfying information, using the Facebook search filters may help you narrow down your search.
If you want to do a professional search for somebody, you are going to want to use a website that specializes in finding people. Google, Facebook and all of the other methods previously mentioned may be of use for you, but to really increase the odds of you finding the person that you are looking for you are going to want to use FreeBackgroundCheck.org. As the name implies, this website can provide you with a ton of information. They can find someone’s current address, but they can also provide you with a lot more information about that person such as their phone number, email address and background history. The website is very easy to use. To find new address by name, you just type in the person’s name and click on search. The system will do all of the work from there and find the person that you seek.
Property changes hands throughout the ages, and it has taken government commendable commitment to keep track of all the transactions. All pieces of property should have proper titles, and most substantive pieces of property do. One would think that since laws exist to protect consumers from fraudulent dealings, that buying and leasing property should be as easy as buying candy. Well, it should be, but it is not. Unscrupulous people, especially middlemen and unethical property owners, often take advantage of naive persons seeking to buy or lease pieces of property. In such an endeavor to invest in the future, assets are valuable investments in the future and present times, due diligence is key. You should verify the ownership of the property in which you are interested. You need to inspect the property titles with which you get presented. Fakers and fraudsters were, are and will continue to be very efficient in forging property tiles. Therefore, go out of your way, and into your pocket, to follow these few neat ways of verifying the ownership and financial status of the property in which you desire to invest. I’ll make it easy to find out who owns a property.
Scrutinize Local Laws
The United States has many states which make their partially autonomous laws. Most property issues are regulated by state and county laws. Property disputes are often heard and decided by the local authorities as well. The location of the property on which you are eyeing ultimately determines which laws apply for ownership to change. Remember, apart from just names on the title deeds, there could be pending lien and lease issues plaguing such property. You need to fully understand the legal environment of the property on which you plan on investing. This will help you find a current address for someone.
Consult County Property Data Bases
The first, and easiest, is always consulting open public information on the property. County authorities keep track of land and property ownership. They have vested interests in collecting land and property rates as well as charging title transfer charges. It is also their judicial prerogative to collect taxes from locals for their respective states and the federal government. Most have online websites which they make basic information on property available to the public. However, some counties do not make such information too readily available. You might have to make calls and personal visits to their offices. Even when they provide such information online, it is never enough to fully verify the wholesome status of property ownership which will make it easy to find out where someone lives. The authorities could have reasons to withhold sensitive information on certain pieces of property. They won’t reveal critical tax information, and neither are they aware of impending spousal and sibling rivalry. At best, you might get just enough information to proceed with your transaction, especially if you had substantial prior information on the same. At worst, you could get nothing but just the general gist of things. It’s a gamble which you should not take. Make sure you conduct due diligence elsewhere too so that you have enough information to move forward with your plans. You can easily find out who owns a house by address.
Ask the Locals
Quite often, rumors have certain percentages of the truth in them. Lawyers and judges often dismiss hearsay but investigators rely on it to make their deductions and to generate their case hypotheses. When verifying the ownership of property that you could purchase or lease, you have to act as the investigator, attorney and judge. Well, you could get reliable property surveyors to do the job for you, but if you would rather do it yourself, then do it well. Ask the locals around the grocery store or the liquor shop. Gossip will give you the general gist of any impending foreclosures, ownership and lien disputes or just suitable and unsuitable drama. You will probably get as many theories as the number of people you ask. However, if you are a good listener, you will know where and what to verify. One thing is for sure though, if the property was sold recently, county records won’t have updated information on the transaction until after a few weeks. Fortunately, some of the locals are bound to know.
Ask Uncle Sam
For those are not aware, Uncle Sam is a pretty common alias for the IRS. The tax authorities are pretty devolved, and you will find that their interests are pretty much represented at the county level. Every county has its county tax assessor. Every piece of property attracts taxes, and owners who do not pay taxes on their property get in trouble. The tax authorities recognize the legitimate owners as the persons legally liable for tax evasion, and should, therefore, have their names and contact information. Perhaps the county tax office might not always have the most updated information on current ownership, but their existing property ownership history just happens to be too legitimate to question. It is the prerogative of county administrations, excluding their tax office, to document the most recent ownership and title transfer information. The tax office only collects ownership information periodically for the sake of tax obligation follow up.
This is the only one-stop property verification center you should trust to the following things on your behalf:
• Verify property ownership
• Confirm who owns a house
• Obtain landlord proof of ownership
• Verify the owner of a rental property
• Conduct property ownership search
You only need to visit the website and pay a small nominal fee to get the most accurate, reliable and updated information as pertains ownership of particular property. The website conducts due diligence from all possible sources including locals, county public property databases, tax entries and owners. It even investigates possible lien issues that documented property owners could be facing. It will surely get you more accurate information than you could get for yourself at a much less cost and in quicker turnaround time.
Every so often, you run into situations where you want to search for the owner of a house by address.
This could be because you want to verify home ownership. Perhaps you’re thinking of renting a room in a building, and you want to make sure that the person who posted the ad isn’t a scam artist.
Or you could have no idea who the owner is. For example, you see a vacant house and you’re interested in buying it, but you need to know the owner to do that. Here’s how you can find the owner of the home, from the old-fashioned ways to more modern methods.
- Traditional Methods
There are a few tried-and-true methods that have been around for decades. These include:
- Calling Information and asking for the name of a property owner
- Going to the county recorder’s office to search the property deeds
- Going to the city or county tax assessor’s office and looking through ownership records
Calling information is obviously the quickest and simplest method. It also works a good amount of the time, making it worth the attempt.
The other two options require you to do a bit of legwork, but they also tend to be very effective. The location of the county recorder’s office varies by county, but the most common locations used are the county courthouse or city hall. There are public terminals in these offices that you can use to search property deed records, including ownership deeds and records of property transfers. There may also be staff available who can help you out and even copy documents for you, although there may be a small fee for this.
The tax assessor’s office will have property ownership records for any properties in that city or county that pay property taxes. Even though some of this information is available online, in some states, it’s illegal to publish that identifying information online unless the homeowner authorizes it in writing. For that reason, you’ll likely have better luck going to the office to search property records to find the owner.
- Searching Online
There are also sites available that can help you find the owner of a home. One of the easiest options is our website FreeBackgroundCheck.org, which has several information-lookup tools. Here’s how you can use the site to conduct a property ownership search:
- From the site’s home page, go to where it says “Find Records Fast:” and click the Address tab to switch to that search mode.
- In the information fields, enter the house number, the street name and the city, and then select the state from the drop-down box.
- The site will let you know if it found the ownership records for that property. If so, there’s a nominal fee to pay, and then you can access that information.
There are also real estate sites that will sometimes have property ownership data available. These include Zillow, Redfin, Trulia and Realtor, to name a few. Searches can be hit or miss with these options, and just like with FreeBackgroundCheck.org, there can be small fees to access the information. Just look at it as paying for the convenience of not trekking to the recorder’s office or the tax assessor’s office.
- Asking Around
In most cases, one or more of the methods listed above will work fine. But an often-overlooked option is simply asking other people in the area who owns the home. Try knocking on a neighbor’s door and seeing what they have to say. You could save yourself the time of conducting online searches or looking through records in person.
The Smartest Way to Find a Homeowner
If you’re looking for a homeowner, start with the neighbors and a call to Information, as these will be the most convenient options. No luck there? Then give the online resources a try, since you can use these from your computer or smartphone. If you still get nowhere, then it’s time to break out the big guns, which means going to the offices for records or property taxes.
While there are a number of ways that you can determine who owns a property, these are some of the most common and effective ways to do it:
1. Searching Public Records:
Get Information From The County Tax Assessor:
The county tax assessor will always know who owns a property, and this information is part of the property owner’s public record. Therefore, you’ll be able to access it. They will even be able to give you the identity of someone who owns a vacant lot.
While you may have to visit the tax assessor in person to view this information, some counties have an online search feature that allows you to view the information. In some cases, you’ll need to go to the library to find the information in your county’s records.
Look At Property Deeds:
All property deeds are recorded, and it’s possible to view the records at the county recorder’s office. You will need to visit the office in person though. The recorder’s office is usually in the county courthouse, but it can be located elsewhere as well. You can determine where the office is located by searching for it online.
Not only do deeds show you the current owner of a property, but they show you everyone who owned the property in the past as well. This is especially important if the property in question is foreclosed. The current owner of a foreclosed property is a bank rather than an individual.
Online Property Search Tools:
There are a number of privately owned reverse address search tools that allow you to search for the owner of a property online. While you have to pay to use some services, there are others that are free. A great example of a free tool that allows you to determine the owner of a property is Freebackgroundcheck.org. This tool allows you to get detailed information about the owner of a property.
Visit City Hall:
City halls often will be able to provide you with auditor materials. Some examples of these records include census and voting records. These records will list the property owner’s name. Similar information can be found at some libraries.
2. Talking To Neighbors:
Speak With The Nearest Neighbor:
Sometimes, neighbors will be willing to share a lot of information about the owner of a property. In other cases, they won’t be willing to share much about it or tell you who owns a house in the neighborhood. It’s best to begin asking a neighbor by simply asking if they know the person that owns the property next to them and be as friendly as possible. You don’t want to come across as nosy. This is especially true if you’re considering buying the property as your residence.
Talking With Neighbors To Get The Address:
The address of a property isn’t always clearly visible from the street. This is especially likely to be true if the property is within a multiplex. If this is the case, you’ll have to talk to one of the neighbors to get the address. This address can be used to search public records for the owner of a property. It also can be used to send a letter to the property owner’s residence to determine their identity.
3. Find A Professional Property Search Service:
There are three main types of professionals that you can use to find the owner of a property. These groups of professionals are real estate agents, title companies, and skip tracers.
Working With A Real Estate Agent:
If a house is for sale, you’ll be able to find the identity of the property owner by giving the real estate agent a call. Their number is listed on the for sale sign. The only time that a property for sale will not have the telephone number of a real estate agent listed is if the property is for sale by owner. However, the sign next to these properties generally lists the phone number of the current property owner.
If the property is not for sale, you still may be able to talk to a real estate agent to find the identity of the owner. Real estate agents that have experience selling properties in the area are especially likely to be familiar with the property owner. In addition, real estate agents have many professional connections. This will help them to find a property owner’s identity.
Working With A Title Company:
Title companies frequently perform searches for property owners. You’ll have to go through a title search company if you’re thinking about buying a property whether you use one to find the identity of the property owner or use another method to do so. It generally costs between 200-400 dollars for a title company to figure out the owner of a property.
Working With A Skip Tracer:
Skip tracers have access to a wide range of databases that the general public doesn’t. This means that they may be able to find the identity of a property owner that has suddenly abandoned their property.

You’re here because you are looking for public records on a person or place. Don’t worry I will tell you what a public record is and how to find them on almost anyone or anything. This makes it very easy to do a free people search.
1.) Public Record Databases
Public record databases such as FreeBackgroundCheck.org compile data from thousands of resources to provide users with a searchable database of public record information. You can find out if someone has a criminal history, check a person’s marital status, view recent addresses, find phone numbers, see if a person has filed for bankruptcy, find out when someone was born, find out why someone went to jail and much more. You can start a search for just a few dollars and conduct unlimited public record searches.
As you can see you can conduct a background check on anyone using public records. You can check public criminal records and court cases, view phone numbers, public arrest records, bankruptcies, if they are divorced and more. Below are a few more screenshots and searches you can do.
I did a quick public record search on a person and as you can see it pulled up a ton of results such as if the person is married, if they are a home owner, date of birth, occupation, phone number, address, email address, criminal history and much more. I just wanted to show you some of it.
As you can see there are many different types of searches that you can do once you become a member for a few dollars. You can start your public record search here.
Pipl public record searches are pretty awesome too (just watch out for the advertisements). You can search for public records by name, username, email or phone.
I did a quick search for John Smith and Pipl came through and pulled up the results.
Now I’m going to click on one of the results just to give you an idea of what type of public records you can get.
You can see how old the person is, view a nice photo, see the person’s career, education, cities he’s lived in and people who they are associated with. If you want more in-depth information like FreeBackgroundCheck.org gives then you will have to pay. As you can see the personal info, online photos, social profiles, and contact info is “sponsored”. But not bad at all for a free public records search.
With Spydialer you can do a reverse phone check, email address lookup, address search and people lookup. The results are pretty basic and mostly lead to sponsored results but it does provide some useful results for free such as email, address, and phone searches. You won’t find any in-depth information but you can get basic results for free but you are limited to how many searches you can perform. Also, pretty cool feature is you can hear a person’s voicemail without having to call the phone yourself.
Search by phone, people, address or email. In this case, we’re going to search for people to give you an idea of what you’re working with.
So now you have to choose the person you’re searching for by a basic location. So if you have more than one person with the same name in the city you’re searching for then this is going to be a lot harder to figure out. So now I clicked on one of the results and I’m then led to some sponsored results on the side (I cut the ads out on this screenshot) and then a basic address, some possible relatives and a link to spydial the phone number.
Now I clicked to spydial the phone number and I get to hear the person’s voicemail. Pretty cool.
2.) Government Resources
All in all the people search is pretty useless. However their phone number search, email and address search are much more worthy of your time.

- Local City & County Government Websites
Your local city and county government websites usually will have links and resources for the public to access records such as property records, marriage records, arrests, warrants, sex offenders, deaths, unclaimed property and more. It’s easy to do a Google search for these type of websites. Just type in your city or county and type in the type of records you’re looking for after that. You will then be shown a list of your local resources that are available.
So, you want to find out where someone lives huh. That’s all too common these days. Maybe you are trying to get ahold of an old friend or an ex that you lost contact with over the years. Either way, you need to find out someone’s address.
You have a few ways that you can find a person’s address and where they are currently living.
1.) Public Record Databases
You can find out where someone is living at by visiting FreeBackgroundCheck.org and typing in the information you have. If you have their name then search for their address by name, if you have a cell phone number then you can also find out where they live by their phone number.
You’ll see a search box like this.
It’s much easier to find out where someone is currently living by searching their name and or by cell phone number. So go ahead and type that in the search box and you’ll see some results we have. Choose the location and possible relatives of the person. Then you’ll need to pay a few dollars to become a member. Once you’re a member then you can easily find out where the person is living at.
You can also view more information about the person too. You can see the person’s phone number, criminal records, current address, date of birth and much more.
Accessing public record databases to find out where someone lives at is one of the best ways.
2.) Find a Person’s Address by IP
Here is a video of a pretty sneaky but legit way to find out where someone lives by their IP address. There are also many other reverse ip address lookup sites that will help show a general location of a person but that video that I linked to will give you an exact location most of the time.
So you want to find out who the owner of a property is don’t worry you can conduct a totally free reverse address lookup online right now. Whether the property is residential or commercial you can find out who owns a property by doing a simple Google search. So if you have questions like “Who lived at this address?” “How can I do a property search by someone’s name?” “How can I find the history of my house address?” We can help you answer these questions.
1.) Local Assessor Offices
Bam! All these properties must pay property taxes, so when you conduct a local property assessor search you can find the assessors office and search by parcel number and or address to find out who the deeded owner of the property is.
So, for instance, say I want to find the owner of a property in Marion County Indiana. I could do a search in Google for “Marion County Indiana Property Assessors” “Marion County Property Records Assessors Office” or “Marion County Indiana Assessors Office”
Doing this search will provide me with the Government office that handles property taxes but what I really want to know is…. who the owner of the property is.
Once I click on the Assessor office page I will get something like this…
But what I want is the property records to show ownership of a property I want to know about. Typically I can find these records by clicking “Tax Information” “Property Record Cards” “Property Tax Information” “Property Records” if you have trouble just give them a call and I’m sure they can point you in the right direction. In our example, the property records are under “Property Record Cards”.
Once I click “Property Record Cards” I will be shown a page like this.
As you can see I can search by parcel number, by the owner’s name, and by the address. This is a sure fire way to do a reverse address lookup without paying a dime. All you have to do is find the property assessors office page and gain access to their property tax records search.
2.) WhitePages Reverse Address Lookup
Sometimes you just need to quickly find out who lives at a residence and you can easily do that with the Whitepages address lookup tool. The Whitepages has a huge database of property owners and people who live at an address and you can look them up for free. They do have up to date information on property ownership so it’s worth a shot. Not every time you’ll get a hit and sometimes they will show you ads but for the most part, you can do an address lookup for free using the Whitepages.
Addresses.com reverse address lookup is basically the same as the Whitepages address search but a bit of a different layout when you search that I feel is more user-friendly. Either way, it’s definitely a totally free address lookup.
